This poem reminds me so much of how I used to feel. In a way I connected to it and remembered all the reasons I made my heart a prisoner.

The whole flow of this was excellent but I would suggest breaks in between so it flows a little nicer.

A few years ago, I read a novel written by a local author. The book is in my mother language, Malay. However, the story is about twin sisters who are born with psychic power. One of the twins, is the stronger than the other. And there's this old lady who also has a psychic power kinda build walls inside the kid's body to contain her power and over the years, her power got stronger and stronger and in the end the wall crumbles and her power becomes out of control.

Somehow, reading this I was reminded of that book and I totally love it! I know the story is nothing alike this poem because this poem is about how you're protective of your heart and lock it in a cage but somehow it's similar. When you finally release your heart you feel things you never feel when you let it caged.

I know I'm rambling but I just can't help myself. ^_^ Great work!
