You're a better poet than me :)

It took you about ten minutes to write this or less, and let me say that you have skill. (I was watching you I know.) I wish that I were this good with emotional poems....everything I write (that even aims toward emotional) turns out funny. I don't want always funny things! But I love this, and I read it again because I love the way that you write, even poetry. Your creativness truly warms my soul even if what you're writing may be depressing.

So the mental picture I got from this was someone walking along a beach during the middle of a hardcore rainstorm, when suddenly the sky opens up and light floods out, and they die.

I'm not sure if that was what you were going for. But the way you put the words together created some seriously lovely images.

If only I had half this amount of skill with poems. <333
