@ the 1n5p1ration totally... Well interpretted... The thing about my poetry... is I just write what sounds right... and let my word be interpretted on their own. :) I didn't even know what I was writing at the time :)
@ dfident The thing about poetry is that it has lots of ways to interpret it, depending on the person...to me, it's saying that no matter how hard I try to write a poem, if I'm uninspired, I can't "fly", or get the right words to come to my mind, which would be my wings, so to speak, in a world full of water (sadness) that I can fly and soar over with my wings (poetry) and be all right. But then, if I crash into the water and drown, that WOULD be inspiration, and the world would be made of ink and water, hence "and...ink?". The ink is the abundance of inspiration that I would be drowning in after almost literally drowning in sadness. Does that make sense? lol
@ dfident I think it's "One with words. None with birds. For you see, though I try, and try, and try... I can not fly, and I sit here and wonder. Wonder why I was not with wings; when the world was written in water.
@ dfident If I had to choose a favorite band it would have to Marianas Trench and as for favorite poet I'd have to say Poe. He's dark and creepy in a good way =) Care to take this conversation to messages and tell me your preferences?
@ dfident You're welcome =D And you are quite right, it's not mainstream. I think it's better that way, less chance of it getting killed by overplaying. And thank you kind sir, I humbly accept the complement =)
@ kittenkat95 Thanks and yes a wonderful song that is not as well known and less mainstream but a fave of mine by the killers! :) Thank you I love your style of writing too!
@ kittenkat95 I tried to incorperate some paradox as well as allusions to the overwhelming aspects of poetry that one could almost feel as drowning in a sea of clauses... :) Thank you it's quite touching when people analyze my work and it helps motivate me to write more.
well said. :)
