The symbolism that is present here is only seen to the keenest of eyes... not many have commented on this poem but I feel it is my duty to tell you that this poem is beautiful! Not many people would appreciate if not even notice the allusion to the roof of a house with shingle and the roof of a mouth in addition to the homonym used of hear (I am assuming it is symbolizing the sense of hearing) Splendid job! A plus. :) I would love a wonderful poet such as yourself to review my poems that would be most awesome. Please keep writing you have a wonderful talent. Even if other mibbians have not commented on it yet. I definitely recomend this poem.
