This is just fantastic. As I read the beginning, I wondered why she was in the hospital. As it went on about how she waited for him and he asked her out on a date finally, I thought that maybe she was at the hospital because she's ended up marrying him and he had just passed away, or something along those lines. But in the end it completely made sense. I really need to be a bit more patient, but this was great. I like the wording and the way it seemed like each line could almost stand on its own. You're a wonderful poet!
