Thank you so much!! It truly means the world!! The majority of poetry on this site is a little dark; don't get me wrong, they're beautiful poems, heck, most of my poems are a little sad! But I really wanted to write a more motivational poem, because I think there are two things a good poem has: the ability to relate back to the readers, AND the ability to influence the readers. I believe this poem really influenced the readers, as opposed to only them to relating to it. I think everybody needs a happy poem once in a while :) Thank you so much, it honestly made my day!!

You have a way of finding that line that captures people and dancing on it. Your words are inspiring and just reading it makes you smile. The fact you reach out and try to help people with your poetry just shows that the words are coming from someone with a huge heart, and that makes reading it so hypnotic because you can just feel the love that was put into the words. I love it and am so grateful you found my poem and loved it, because if you hadn't I wouldn't have been able to read yours. I am blessed :D

First of all, this is beautiful to read in that it flows flawlessly, and your rhymes are honestly way better than any of mine lol. Although I'm not quite what you would call religious, in reference to your mention of God, I think this is one of the best, most well-thought-out poems on Mibba. A definite subscribe (though I dunno why one would subscribe to a one-time post) and recommendation to you, dear friend.

This is a really well-thought-out poem. The analogies and metaphors are a dream, however, some of your lines don't quite match syllables to their rhyming counterparts and it throws off the rhythm a tad. That's the only "problem" (if you can call it that) that I can see with this. Despite the mentioning of "God" (which some people can find offensive) it was wonderful. I could really see and feel the desperation if you hoping to uplift your friend even the tiniest bit. I'm sure you've succeeded, if you've showed them this. Amazing job. ;]

Your welcome. That poem was amazing whether it was written by a 14 or 50 year old. Writing poems is all about feels, so it doesn't really matter what age you are. That's what I love about poems.
