I noticed that you chose "lyrics" to describe this poem's style. At first, I didn't understand the flow or the layout, but I get it now. These words are paired together perfectly, in a more defined and talented way than most lyrics are nowadays. Whether put to hard rock or something slow and gentle, they are very effective. There is a dark and sad beauty surrounding this. I especially found myself drawn to the first too lines. Excellent work!
