I’m here as the new host for the ‘Show Me What You’ve Got’ contest.

The message behind this poem is very dark and emotional, but also unique in a sense. Most of the time, the moral of the story is to not believe what people say about you. So the fact that you went the other route really created a special kind of punch to the emotionality of this. I loved how you used the contrast of the fragility and the mirror. It created a push and pull kind of vibe to the entire poem, so there was a lot of weight to the final line. The way you repeated ‘delicate little flower’ also added power. The flow of the poem was soft but very sharp at the same time, so fantastic job.

I think this poem is beautiful. It really has a lot of emotion and I was really, really enticed while reading. I always love when questions are brought out in poems. I thought you evoked such a wonderful feeling throughout. Your diction was fabulous and it marks an amazing poet. I think you really embraced the delicate flower and you made it have so much power. I was reading the poem, and I just couldn't help but feel relaxed and calmed. I truly believe that this poem is wonderfully created, and you should be proud of it. I thought your stanza form was great and I felt so connected to the poem. Masterful poem this is.

Firstly, I need to mention the layout. It's absolutely gorgeous.

I absolutely adore this. You've conveyed what I think is a really important message in such a beautiful way. I don't tend to read poetry that much, but it is pieces like this that really make me appreciate the art. Everything is amazing, down to the imagery that you've used and the way that you start off with very light words and finish with such a heavy ending. It's really interesting to read. Like megurine margerine said, it really is like reading a poem written by two people. This is definitely something that everyone should read because the message is just so true. People need to stop putting themselves down and believe the praise that others give them.

I'll be announcing the winners of the contest at some point within the next week, so good luck! Cute

I love this. It reminds me of a really close friend of mine. She's an amazing person and has a huge heart but she refuses to see any good in herself. Beautiful job! 。◕‿◕。

I like the thought behind this, and the description of the character as a "delicate little flower". Like, because flowers are beautiful.

Such elegant words you've chosen to write this poem. It was both dainty and ethereal at the same time.

But I have to say, your poem began with a dainty start and it slowly progressed to being heavy. It was an enchanting read, to be honest. It was like two people were writing the poem at the same time. One was being gentle while the other, harsh.

You've mentioned that this poem was somewhat directed to you? I felt that way too when I read your poem. It only started as a message to the topic but it suddenly reached out to the readers, you know? I didn't notice that it was also messaged to you.

I love this poem and am definitely reccing it. Wink
