This is good, especially for someone who doesn't usually write poems (maybe you should do it more often?). I loved how it was simple but deep, and very accurate - the imagery of the elements in particular was very effective. A haiku is an interesting choice of form, and not only does it work well - it actually is, to my understanding, a haiku (some people accidentally put their poems in the wrong category, which can be frustrating) - so well done for experimenting and getting it right! This was so lovely overall, and I will look forward to any future poems of yours.
