I need to start by telling you that Im trying not to cry right now, but the last two lines really hit me hard. All of it really got to me because I just recently lost my dad, by recently I mean over a year and a half, and it still gets to me. So I really do resonate strongly with this. The wording and the way that you've written this is absolutely amazing and I can literally feel how deep the emotion in this runs for you. I really liked the references you kept making to the sea and water, it made the work as a whole flow together very nicely. I think the reason why I feel such a connection to this is because I have an older brother myself, and after my dad passed he became very distant and he moved out, I don't ever talk to him anymore. You did spectacular job with this, and even if someone reading this didn't quite relate to it, they could still very easily be able to feel how deep this goes.
