Charizard - Comments

This poem makes me so happy every single time I read it. It's a nice, refreshing change of pace to see a light hearted poem compared to a lot of the darker ones out there. You did an amazing job of showing Charizard as a Pokemon - even people that don't know the show could understand a bit about him just from this poem. I love how this is a funny but at the same time serious poem, and that's what makes it one of my favorites. You kept it light while still explaining that Charizard is such a strong and fierce Pokemon.

When I first played Fire Red, I chose Charizard - this poem makes me so nostalgic ^_^

But when I got X I chose Blastoise because I already had a fire type, Delphox. Maybe when I finish the game and start over with a Nuzlocke I'll choose Charizard and Greninja, because apparently the latter is a boss.

Just wondering: which Kalos starter did you choose?

This was definitely a fun poem to read and reminds me of when I used to draw and collect pokemon cards! It was very cute, funny and definitely true - I had the biggest pokemon crush on Charizard for a while lol.

Omg Charizard is one of my favorite Pokemon and I never knew I wanted to read a poem about it until now!

I like the format of this poem. I'm jealous of you. I remember getting frustrated back in grade school because when I did these kind of poems I never got them to work out.
