The whole concept of this is very appealing to me, if not something I have ever explored. I like the way you have personalised death without literally turning it in to the grim reaper, almost as if this is an ode to a person who is already lost. Correct me if I am wrong, but the final stanza seems to almost cast aside the notion of an all-loving God, as if it were simply some frivolity which we used to survive, and say that death is the ultimate human creation, borne out of sin. If that's absolutely not what you meant and is just my own bizarre take on it, then I suppose the purpose of art has been reached, and I find that idea very interesting regardless.

There's something very unsettling and ceremonial about this poem. I feel like I am reading a prayer to something I don't quite understand. It's almost like looking at the negative of a photograph, if that makes any sense at all. It's a very interesting interpretation.
