I loved this poem. Very haunting - usually subtle images can fall flat, but it's very well done here, in part thanks to your specificity in descriptions that help place the images in very concrete places. I especially loved the "beautiful flags of brocaded silk." The fleeting images here definitely create your phantoms in the poem.
