This is an amazingly dark poem. I felt so many emotions while I was reading it. I think a lot of people feel the same way as the narrator. Life is tough and sometimes it seems like drugs are the only thing to make the pain go away. They live life in a buzzed out haze just to get through the day - and they never really embrace life or find themselves enjoying it. The only thing they look forward to is getting high again. I think you did and absolutely amazing job capturing the feelings of the poem and adding in all of the little details. This was a wonderful read.
