Hey there! I'm here as a judge for Mibba Magazine's Poetry Month contest. Cute I do apologize that this comment is coming so late but I assure you the entry was judged in full when we did the judging. Since there were so many, we did the judging before the commenting but I got a bit held up in real life and the comments got delayed. So I do apologize for not giving you your comment sooner.

This poem actually kind of confused me at first, but that could be a good thing in the end. It could be good because it made me wonder more about the poem and made me think a bit deeper into what I was reading. I think in a way, this poem did speak to me. I'm a photographer (an amateur/non-serious one though) so the photography thing is something I can really relate to and see.

To be honest, this poem almost seemed like it had a dark undertone to it. That might be my horror freak mind speaking but it almost feels like there's a hidden emotion going unspoken for the photographer. I mean, their emotions are fairly clear for the most part but it just feels like something is hidden there, whether that was intentional or not. That's a good thing too; I like when poems and such add a mystery aura to them like this poem sort of had.

This was a pretty unique entry in all honesty. It's not a subject that I expected to be covered in the contest so it's nice to see that it was covered. This poem was very well written and it was a nice read. Well done on it. Cute

The theme and just the entire poem, I loved- how it was written and how it plays out the photographer, he lives and creates memories for others almost whilst he is just in the shade and turns old, printing out what he's captured of others lives.

I love how you wrote it, it flows so well and still while it so nicely explains how he's preserving memories for others, it still keeps him a mystery- or at least make the poem somewhat mysterious, at least to me.

It's almost like a letter, well it kind of is, Lovingly Signed, The Photographer. I loved this, almost like the man makes sure to save parts of others lives whilst his just withers away.
