To be pretty and smart and not such a failure.'
That is the most powerful part of the poem for me. I have daddy issues, and mommy issues too. I was abandoned at two weeks old by the both of them and looked after by my grandmother. You have a talent for writing, even if it only started out as drabble I think it's a beautiful poem. I'm sorry you had to go through that, but I feel your pain.
