Thank you so much for this comment, you have probably just made my night. I thought it was much too sappy, but said heck, why not post it?
This poem is actually about my boyfriend and I. He is the most amazing person I have ever met, and it still baffles me to this day how he could love someone like me.

This was both the sweetest and sincerest thing I've read in a long, long time about love. It's great! I like how it takes them time to really fall in love; it isn't some automatic thing that comes out of thin air. And you take the time to recognize their imperfections both before and after being with each other, which I consider incredibly important. For a poem, this has very powerful imagery and detail that you don't normally find in this format. I can tell this is so powerful because I've most certainly never been in love, but I could feel it in this poem. I could imagine so strongly how this would feel all due to how you wrote it. Great work!
