You were right about this not being a “traditional” haiku, but one thing I love about haikus is, to me, you can do so much with them, beyond “tradition”. I love the idea behind this one. I've never before read a haiku in the command verb tense, and I really dig it! I love the theme and the message in this one, too. Something about it reminds me of being young and crazy, but also at any age and level of relative sanity it speaks to the need to just be free and live your life. That so happens to be one of my favorite themes.
Well, I could ramble at you forever, but I think I'll stop before I talk your head off. Great haiku; I really dig it!
