And I have always been transported by certain scents, whether reminding me of memories, places or people. I did not know that the centres are shared in the brain! That is crazy, but it explains a lot.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I haven’t been on mibba for what seems like such a long time until very recently. I figure I’m still writing and I still had the account so why not share? This is very nice however, very introspective, seemingly very honest with yourself which is important. Amazing how the olfactory sense is able to resurface those intimate memories so vividly. I think the scent processing center shares the same part of the brain as memory storage/recall. I will be reading more of yours
