The Lover - Comments

This reminds me of those kinda Victorian era poets, of which I've read a few bits and bobs... I'm not the biggest fan of that sort of stuff, but this is exceptional. I suppose it's because so often, when people try and pull it off (or sort of go along those lines)... they, er... fail a bit. But this poem has got it down to an... art (that sounds silly, poetry is an art, so I say... really, Lucy, how did ya work that one out? xP)

But yeah, very good. I'm impressed. :-o

I think this is really good. I particularly enjoyed the imagery and the enthusiasm of it. I might just be a bit twisted, but it reminds me a little of necrophilia... was that intentional?

Wow! I'm not a poet, as you know, but that was impressive. I loved it. And after reading all of those Edgar Allan Poe's poetry last night, I can't help but be reminded of it. You are truly talented and I'm proud to have you as my sister.
