Indifference House - Comments

Chillingworth DOES sound like he's summed it up, but he gives me the chills. How DEPRESSING....*tries to shake off the summation* ew

I "get it" entirely, but only because I've lived too much. The house needn't be a physical structure... in truth, it's marriage itself. We see so many lives warp and twist and crumble before us, and yet we step over the corpses that molder before us, and doom ourselves to the same pattern, convinced that OUR love is strong enough to prove the past irrelevant.

Definitely a different poem. I can't compliment cause I don't "get" it.
