I'm sorry and please don't take this the wrong way, but you don't even know this poor girl. You don't know what she's been through. For all you know she could have been raped or lost someone close to her that she loved very much or anything of other terrible sircumstances. But age does not have anything to do with it. One does not have to be of a certain age to feel love, or hunger, or anger, or even depression. If this girl is truely depressed then she has a chemcial imbalance, therefore she cannot HELP feeling the things she does. Someone could have absolutely nothing wrong in their life and still feel this way.

And who's to say she's not thankful for what she has?

Either way, you don't know her so bugger off.
