Prince in My Eyes

I circled the floor,
With pillars of height
When you opened the door
I jumped up in fright...
For i thought this was secret
My own little palace
Where i was the princess,
Where there was no hate or malice
But for a second i thought
You seemed a prince in my eyes
And i just kept on staring
I lost all my breath, all my secrets and lies
We stood in surprise
A little bit awkward
Then you offered your hand
And we both stepped forward
We flowed like the sea
Like a current in a stream
Curving and running
Graceful we'd seem
Perfectly strangers
Yet we felt so at home
And together like this
We dont feel alone
We circled the floor,
And all the windows flew out
And the ghosts of the past
Blew away all worry and doubt
And at that moment we realised,
We'd found that one thing
That spark in another
Thats eternal in us, like a gold circled ring...
