Vengeful Love
I can see you with her, laughing away,
That hateful smirk as your lips finally meet,
Little does she notice that you're already reaching for your coat, no plans to stay,
She thinks she has it all, that shes in for a treat,
Little does she know
You stand and sneer down at her figure, so frail
Your can of beer spills over the dank floor,
Kicking it aside, you open your zipper,
She smiles weakly before making for the door,
Little does she know
Your soft fingers brush her silky hair,
She sobs in your arms but you do not stop,
Feel yourself elated, satisfied at a pleasure so rare,
Feel her body droop, her head slowly drop,
You grunt with comtepmt, your bovine groan,
Reach for the gun which will bring it all to an end,
She will not run, will never moan,
And the broken fragments of her heart will never mend.
Little does she know
She sees the gun and flees in a flash of black and white,
Blood spurts down the ceilings and walls,
You laugh as she struggles and puts up a fight,
Inside your head, your manevolent applause,
She lunges out and you gasp, your vision lacks grace,
You are confused, speechless, angry,
Blood is staining your formerly sparkling shirt, so freshly made,
She sobs and apologises, her tears scald your freezing face,
Though your hearts will be engraved in the shadows of time,
Your act of forever selfishness was not that of sublime,
You fall and stop and the dampened floor,
You are not laughing any more,
Little do you know.
