Daddy Forbids

Daddy forbids me to go out on Halloween night,
Why Daddy?
Can't you see that it is my favorite time?

You say that it's not safe,
All the dangerous people come out,
All the creeps who kill and shame,
It's for all the people who are damned, and are going to hell.

Daddy, you have never been so wrong,
I go to the forbidden sites of where the ghostly tales are told,
The ghosts welcome me with their chilling howls,
The ghouls come out to play with me,
Their tricks are all in good fun.

Daddy we are dressed up in our human form all year long,
On the night of the 31st,
We shed our true forms,
I join the rest of the ghouls to celebrate this,
And how I chow down on all the treats,
No matter how much you threaten to punish me.

It's funny Daddy,
You say that this day is dedicated to worship Satan,
Well, I guess I'm not your child then,
For Satan has convinced me then,
To be his faithful child.
