Siamese Dream is one of my very favourite albums. The first time I listened to it it blew me away, frightened me, made me fall in love with it, pretty much the whole spectrum of human emotion throughout the time that album was playing.
Yes, I got frightened by the dynamics in 'Silverfuck', okay? I was alone in the house at night. These things affect me XD
It doesn't really puzzle me all that much that Adore didn't do too well, but that is also one of my favourite albums. I probably like it just as much as Siamese Dream. The album's like a lullaby for me. I associate it with so many things, it's so comforting. Also, the first time I listened to it was when I hadn't slept for a couple of days and felt somewhat like a cloud, which I think is the best way you can listen to the softer side of The Smashing Pumpkins X]
