@ the hunger I don't even demand meaningful lyrics, just some that actually make sense instead of being random words thrown together. Yeah, she did so well at Tisch she eventually dropped out. oh sorry, resigned to focus on her musical career~ which at the moment didn't really exist.

She writes clever lyrics
And makes good songs

But she's a Satan Worshipper :)

Great article, I re-read some of the comments and I'm sorry but... what?! Britney Spears and amazing singer do NOT go in the same sentance. Sure she makes good music, but it's all computer generated. Atleast GaGa shows she has talent, for fucks sake she got into the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

kafka: are you forgetting she's a pop artist? Her lyrics don't have to be deep and meaningful, shit, atleast they're more interesting then half the other pop songs out there. People give her credit because shes one of the very few pop stars out there who write/make their own music. So sorry shes not writing about "feelings"

kafka: I hear you.
I'm not saying that I think Gaga is talentless. She has a nice voice, it's just not the type of voice I generally like listening to. But I don't get the hype and I don't see how she's really all that different from other pop artists except for her clothes.

I love Lady Gaga's personality even more than I love her music. My favorite thing to do is watch her interviews and music videos. :)

Gaga is a gifted musician and lyricist
The lyrics you quoted in your article are such an evident proof of this. It obviously takes a lot of talent to write something along the lines of Don't call my name / I'm not your babe., I touch myself, can’t get enough or take a bite of my bad girl meat, show me your teeth, got no direction, just got my vamp . (By the way, does anybody make any sense of the last line? Because if somebody does, please explain it to me as it seems I'm the only one failing to understand Gaga's true genius.)

She's starting to grow on me.
I wouldn't say I fully love her just yet, but we'll seen.
So far bad romance is an okay song but the video is freaking weird. O_O

Step down, Madonna & Britney, there's a new queen in town. :file:

Although there's only one song on this LP I don't absolutely adore, GaGa can do no wrong in my eyes.

Gaga is not crazy. The way she dresses is just the way she likes to express herself. She even said on Ellen that she wants to create an environment where "her monsters" can be comfortable with being who they are, hence the reason why she's so different from other artists in the mainstream. Lady Gaga is an amazing singer, she's very talented, and the way people love to bash on her just because of how she dresses is incredibly ridiculous. Pshhh. But The Fame Monster is such an amazing album; I hope Gaga goes far in the industry <3 Great article <3

I don't really consider myself a fan of Lady Gaga's music, but there's no denying it, she's wicked talented, and I really respect her as an artist.

Ooh, I just bought this CD.
I agree that Lady Gaga is "crazy". But that's why I love her. I get a kich out of the way people say she is such a weirdo, but they can't deny her music XD I think that if anyone needs to get overly popular, Gaga is a very good choice. She is really unique and a good song-writer.

EXCUSE ME: to Ignorance -
I am THE BIGGEST Britney Spears fan and am seriously offended by your comment.
I wasn't claiming that Britney was being replaced. I mentioned her in passing. Calm down. Your comment has nothing to do with my article.

Spirit-rockstar: WHOA WHOA WHOA WAIT! New Princess of Pop? NOOO! That will ALWAYS belong to Britney Spears.. lets see.. How long as Vagaga been around? a year? how long has Spears been around.. 10 ..11 years? Britney sold 1000000000000000 cds,Lady Gaga sold what? 3,because Perez Hilton probably bought them all. Vagaga will NEVER..EVER be the Princess of Pop.. NEVER,maybe the Princess of Techno pop,but the PoP belongs to Britney Spears.Next thing you know people will be saying that Justin Bieber is the next Michael Jackson.. lmfao.. this world is seriously coming to an end.
