Bone Palace Ballet

Bone Palace Ballet I just recently purchased Chiodo's album, Bone Palace Ballet, which is the followup of All's Well That Ends Well. I listened to it, and thought it was just plain wonderful. The lyrics were great, as they were in the previous album, and the titles were weirder than the combination of socks I wore last week.

Before I purchased it, my favorite was "Teeth the Size of Piano Keys." Now, it is "I Didn't Say I Was Powerful, I Said I Was a Wizard."

The images/paintings within the lyrics-book thing were quite attractive. They each suit the songs individually, which, might I add, is quite uncommon nowadays. They also, somewhat, creep me out, a bit - in a good way, though. Not in an "This CD scared the living s*** out of me! I'm never buying another one of their CD's ever again!" kind of way. Paul Romano (the guy who designed everything) did a wonderful job, in my opinion like he did on All's Well That Ends Well.

Craigery, Patrick, Jason, Derrick, Matthew, & Bradley obviously worked hard on this album, and I feel they should have multiple praises for this. But, also, there's that label emo again....
