Thank you! Writing this made me feel the same way. Very nostalgic for the band. They did a lot for me too. They're one of the first bands I ever got into and they stuck with me the whole way. :)

This was beautiful and now that I'm thinking about it I'm all teary because I miss the band so much :c They were one of the few bands I liked that I tracked religiously and they were such a big influence on me growing up and they were the ones that snapped me out of my depression and I just miss them so much! D:
A beautiful article though and one I wish to save and reread.

For me it's the other way around xD it's the lyrics I'm not really crazy about, but I like the sound ALOT. it's so unique and raw *_*

Yeah I have! I like it a lot & I love the lyrics, but I don't really get into it for long periods at a time because of how scratchy it sounds. But I really do love his lyrics!

Well written :) I like it
The first song I've heard was of "I'm not okay"
I immediately thought"I like the song. It's special that the singer is wearing make-up" and that's how I became a mcr fan :D they will always have a special place in my heart.
btw, did you listen to Frank Iero's "Stomaches"?

Hi. Yeah, I know! I left out Conventional Weapons, May Death Never Stop You, & Mad Gear and Missile Kid because they weren't really official. I wanted to focus on the legacy that Gerard planned to leave behind. He thought through these albums so deeply, that I wanted to focus on the intended music.

I don't know if that makes sense, but it did in my mind! haha. But thank you. :)

The article doesn't have the bands five two-song albums that were released on itunes after Danger Days, or their demo songs which were released shortly after the band called it quits. But all in all, it was a nice dedication to their legacy.

The first song I ever heard by them was Dead! because it was on one of the Guitar Hero's. After I stopped playing it, I forgot about it for a while. Then it was after they broke up that I remembered them (because of Dead!), and like a week later at Wal-Mart, I found The Black Parade on sale for $5. Best $5 ever spent.
