well....
i thought the book ended to perfectly. It wasn't the wild pillow biting, head board breaking sex (lol) that just made it seem like a huge let down. Although the book did have its moments it was just to "fluffy". I frankly would have loved a Volturi show-down. That part was just so unnecessarily long, even if it did bring into light some new charachters such as my personal favorite Ben :D. Even if the fight were to occur I doubt that meyers would have it in her to kill any of the Cullens.

So yeah, the book was a HUGE let-down.

I thought the book was pretty good. I was kinda disappointed there was no fight but i couldn't take any of the cullens dying, but it was too drawn out. I think i would be happier if it wasn't over (and that is the weirdest name) but the book was good.

People should say anything about it, its a book about love, sex is a regular thing they should put a sock in it. I was so happy when Alice came back i couldn't believe it.

I in general loved the series and can't wait for the guide and the book of twilight from edwards perspective!

I'm still a bit confused with how exactly I feel about this book, but I liked this review. It seems that everywhere you go it's being trashed. Twilight will still be my favorite of them all, but to me Breaking Dawn wasn't so bad I wanted to set it on fire (me and my friend were seriously planning that if it sucked). I could have done without the kid, and some parts made me cringe. But I think part of what made this book so "bad" was because of Bella's changing personality, the huge change in the Edward and Bella relationship when Bella is no longer breakable (wild sex anyone?), and her change into a vampire (taking away the clumsy, very human Bella we've all come to know). Maybe I'm too optomistic, but this series has always been my escape from reality, and all in all it was nice to read a "fluffy" ending for once instead of everybody dying and alone.

I though Breaking Dawn was a good book and worth the wait. It had to be my third favorite in the series. I disagree with you when you said people were expecting a fluffy happy book. I don't think anyone really was expecting that, all of the Twilight saga hasn't been a fluffy happy book.=/

I very much disagreed with the part where you said it wasn't the fluffy book that people were expecting.
It was one of the the 'fluffiest' books I've ever read. Okay, it mature themes-but at the end of those themes, everything's perfect. The only thing that went wrong in the entire book that couldn't be resolved was Irina's death. Other than that, everything and everyone was perfect. No sacrifices, no death, nothing bad.
Too fairy-tale happy-ending, in my opinion.

awesome book. I remember closing it, and being like "wow" and then, "Wait, NO! I want more!!!!" i loved the entire book, especially the wedding scene, i could see it all in my head, right down to the place where she danced with Jacob. I hated the fact that he imprinted on Renesme, but other than that, im kewl with it. Personally, my favorite new characters in this book were Stefan and Vladmir. they made me laugh so hard, at the fact that they act so very.... I cant find a word for it. but they were good :D LOVED THE BOOK, wish there was more, cant wait for the movie and Midnight Sun, though i may not rwead Midnight Sun. Edward never was my favorite.

I disagree... I thought the whole book was the part where I was like, "Let's get on with it already," and the ending with the Volturi was the only part I liked.

Good review, though, nevertheless.
