I haven't read Brisingr yet, not rich enough for a hard back copy lol.
I am so glad that there's this book, i love Paolini and his writing, I watched an interview of him talking about Eragon, and he's an inspiration to young writer's all over. He wrote Eragon as a teenager and based Eragon on himself, how many other teenagers on this site alone do that?
I was shocked at the film, it wasn't particularly good and Arya didn't even have pointy ears but i didn't think it was too bad, i would love them to bring out Eldest but i doubt that they will after the response to Eragon. Some things just have to stay in your head i guess. A bit like the Harry Potter films which are getting increasingly disappointing as they get darker.
I cannot wait to read Brisingr, I almost died at the end of Eldest because of the suspense and i need to know what happened. This is a great review hun ^_^
This is not a book for those who like straight-forward and plot driven book such at Twilight. In my opinion, Brisingr is more intense. You care for the horribly imperfect characters more with each chapter.
Though Paolini is criticized for his slow moving plot, I absolutely cherish every detail that provides a window to his world.
I have to commend Paolini's characterization of the races. At first, the book seemed a LOTR rip-off. The depth that Paolini goes into to help us understand the most grotesque races such as the Urgals, allows Brisingr to stand as an outstanding work of teen fantasy.
