I read this two months ago. I adored it. =) And, I know this is silly, but I just love the name Harper Lee. =)

I absolutely love this book. It's a book we read in school, and one that I had read outside of school when I received it as a gift. Amazing book, and a great article.

Blooming Rose, your mockery of my use of the word "thoroughly" is pretty rude.

I had to read this for an English summer reading thing a few years back. I hated it. I couldn't even get past the first chapter. I tried to start over and read it again a few months ago thinking maybe it was because it was summer and I was benig stubron but no I was right. The book sucks! Still have yet to make it to chapter 2 and I started it 3 years ago.

I have to read it for English class and I just can't get into it. It's so dull and it seems like pointless random events are happening. What events are happening are described with a lot of pointless details in my opinion. It's too slow. I don't see how anyone can like it. That's just my opinion. But I "thoroughly" hated it.

I had to read this book last year in my Language Arts class. I expected to dislike it but found myself actually enjoying it. I bought the book and would definitely read it again. At times it may seem slow moving but there's something to take with you in every page.
Great article, it's written really well :)

Oh. Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I'm sorry you felt that way, because I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I read this book on my own time. I seriously thought that it was a terrible dry and boring book. I wanted to beat my head against the wall with every page.
