This comment pertains to you saying there is a pattern...
Ok, I don't remember where I heard this from but i remember someone saying that there are only really 6 or 7 plots that exist. What the author writes is what makes it unique. All in all, many authors have patterns, but even if I already know how it's going to end that doesn't mean it cause me (or others) to loose intrest in the book. I think the book had a fairly good plot and I likes the characters. Am I saying it was the greatest book ever? No. But it's not horrible. I'd give it a 3.7 on a scale of 1 to 5.
Then again. I read it on an airplain and a car ride home from New York two years ago, so I may be playing it up in my head. lol
Overall good review, You showed your opinion well.

    Nice review.

I've read it. It's not much, but I do agree about the story-telling.

Just finished reading this, and I really didn't like it. When I read the blurb I thought it was going to be very good, I was disappointed The main character was so annoying, in fact all the characters frustrated me, and that normally doesn't happen, they were all so dreary. And I hate it when stories go to quickly in pace but I found that this dragged. I wasn't keen on the authors writing style either. It was my first Sarah Dessen book, and from this book most likely it will be my last.

Thisis a book i have read several times and imust say it is good, yes i also seen the pattern with the plot, it may have been predictable in some parts of the story, it is still a good read. I would recomend this book to anyone wholikes to read these types of stories.

I hated this book. I'm sorry, but the characters had absolutely no depth. You wanted a comment, you got one. -.-
The author needs to do less research on how teens act in total, and stop painting everyone with the same brush. She just made everything according to typical teen behavior. Stereotypical, really /:
    I was definately not impressed.
