This book was amazing and your review was good though like a few other commenters I disagree with your 'black and white' comment. Besides that it's really good :)

I loved this book, can't wait for the next installment.
I disagree with the black and white comment though.

I have read both the declaration and the sequel - the resistance, both were impeccable and really creative. I disagree with your comment though about the black and white style of writing I didn't think that was a too bigger issue in the authors writing style.

The only problem with The Declaration, is the style of writing. Malley often puts things in black and white, rather than letting the readers figure it out for themselves.

Is that really a problem, though? Just because you didn't like it doesn't make it a fact that the style of writing is problematic to the story.
