I read this book when I was hospitalized. One of the patient's parents brought it to him, and he let me read it. It was AMAZING!

This is the only Palahniuk book I haven't read thus far, and I've liked everything else, so I'll have to give it a go.
I must agree with Michael James Way in suggesting Rant or Haunted because those were my favorites at this point.

Michael James Way - I used it because the other covers took up loads of space. (I've read most of his books, and I own all of them. Just have Haunted, Pygmy, Lullaby and Tell All to read now) Thanks for the comments.

This was the very first Palahniuk book I've ever read. It took me about a week to read it, which is a first for me, 'cause I can usually finish books in about two days, sometimes less if the book is short. It was really confusing in the beginning at first, but then when it got to the middle I just got completely sucked in and my jaw actually dropped near the end. It's brilliant. Such a smart novel, too.

The ending didn't really make me sad, though. I liked the desicion Shannon made in the end (I won't spoil it for the people who haven't read it yet). I thought it was a pretty appropriate ending.

Palahniuk is the shit.

Yeah, I love this book.
One of my faves, ever.
Though, I haven't seen that cover you used
I just have the version where its the two faces and the upsidedown text and the blood on the cover where (spoiler) Shannon shot her jaw off
Very nice. I also recommend Rant or Haunted
