Salem's Lot - Comments

I am so looking forward to reading this book now! I love King's works and am currently reading Under the Dome. I love "real" vampires too, I've fallen in love with Lestat from Anne Rice's books. I am so excited!

This is by far the most terrifying book I have read, no lie! I remember sitting in my room and it was storming bad outside and I had just finished the book and was ready for bed when I turned the light off and thought I heard a tapping at the window. I was so freaked out to look so I jumped up and ran to my mom's room without a second glance at that window, haha. But anyways, this is a fantastic read. The first half was rather boring and wordy but once I got past that, I couldn't stop reading it. It was fantastic.

ok so this might sound bad but i didnt read the whole review. i only got up to the intro and half of the first paragraph. but thats all i needed. Im dyin for a book to actually scare me and i think i might have found one. hitting the library tomorrow. =)

Realised that when I copied this to Mibba the *Taken from ‘Salem’s Lot Chapter Two was cut off. Thought I’d mention that quickly incase anyone recognised it.

Salem's Lot is masterpeaice, far more entertaing then the book Twilight. I remember the first time I read it; I have an overactive imagination and couldn't go to sleep for the next ten minutes XD. This is quite possibly one of the ultimate vampire books out there.
