Thank you very much. I fixed it. But I kept the end. It was my plan to have people disagree with me. That's what I'm good for anyway, having people disagree with me.
I thought this was a well put-together article. The explanation of the plot and the author's purpose behind writing it was very well-done. I also thought you really expressed some of the deeper meanings behind things in the story too, which I thought was great. (Though I did think that towards the end you it seemed as though moved on to something less solid - suggesting that there's a 'conspiracy' to keep African-Americans down in modern times.)
The thing I have to point out is that Urban Dictionary is possibly the worst source for anything (worse even than Wikipedia or Yahoo Answers XD) - especially for a term like Uncle Tom, where one could easily find a legitimate definition from reliable sources. Also, I thought that since you linked to further sources for the definition of “Uncle Tom”, you could have done the same for other terms like Black Codes, Jim Crow Laws, Grandfather Laws and Literacy Tests, which people are a lot less likely to be familiar with (or know the details of).
