Awesome review - I must admit that I was ignorant of it even being a novel (For which I apologise most profusely)
It sounds like a riveting read. I think I shall look out for a copy of it, although the fact I've seen the film will probably spoil it. Although I did the same thing with Blade Runner and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and they turned out to be quite different entirely.
By the way - have to agree with the guy below me. You put "non fiction" when you're obviously referring to fiction.
Good review. I've been interested in Palahniuk's stuff for a while, and now that this review is up, it's inevitable that I need to read his work.
Thanks for writing this. I'm gonna put it on my amazon wishlist now.
Palahniuk is a genius. He really is. Fight Club is a great book (and an OK movie) but his other novels are just as good if not better. He has a way of bringing up the worst in people in the absolute best way. I love his work and I loved your review.
I read the first chapter of my cousin's copy and then I just had to get it and finish it, it was awesome! One of the best books I've ever read, and I've read alot.
