I think the story had potential, but it moved too slowly and I found it extremely hard to believe by the end. It just got too ridiculous and not in a good way. Also, I found it hard to really sympathise with the characters. Martin and Marijke were probably my favourites and their story was the most compelling for me.
I also found it hard to believe that Elspeth would do what she did in the end, considering her relationship with Valentina and Julia (though maybe that had to do with her being a ghost, and therefore losing touch with her humanity?) but I still didn't like what Robert did in the end either.
I liked all the info about the cemetery though.
