I don't find the relationship between Vlad and Henry unbelievable; they were friends since they were little kids. One of my best friends. who I've known since pre-K, is super popular, and I'm like... a loser... So I've seen friendships stick.

I love this series, Vlad of course is my fave character. besides him being half a vamp some of the things he goes through can be relatable. Id love 2 see this become a movie but not if it mean't hollywood changing &ruining such a great story.

I loved the Vladimir Tod series.I rated 1o outa 10 star:P It was amazinng. It opened up my mind to alot of different views of guys, and I enjoyed reading it from the guys perspective, because waay to many books now days are from the chicks.:) I may be a chick but I like seeing things from both perspectives when it comes to books.

Vladimir Tod is my absolute favorite book series ever. Vlad and Henry are such amazing characters. I also think that Heather Brewer's view of teenage boys was spot on (even though I'm a girl; I have an older brother) Words cannot even express my love for almost every aspect of this book. This series got me through all three years of Middle School :)

Wow, you really aren't that non-comformist. Prep and Jock?
Geez. That's not a proper form of describing people.

I remember reading this in eleventh grade two years ago! I liked this book actually, it was my favourite out of the books. After the second book things got boring, though.

One thing that bothered me was your questioning of why a jock would hang out with a goth and why a goth would like a prep.
I don't see why it matters that Henry is a jock and Vlad is a goth. People like that are friends in real life. Why can't someone who seems like a goth like a girl who comes off as preppy? They are still people. The stereotypes we give them don't change that. People often hang out with people different from them.
