I read this book a long time ago and I saw both movies awhile back. I...really liked the book, but at the same time, I didn't. I loved it because it was so imaginative and cute, but I didn't like it because of how they had Leslie die at the end. I still don't blame Jess for her death, not then and not now. :)

If you guys enjoyed the movies and book, I found a great fanfiction sequel, which I believe deserves to be publish, few years back. Though it is no longer being written it bost 50k+ words. You don't even need to read it till the end, only till the 11th chapter, to be completely satsified.

    Enjoy :)

Okay :) If not, you might be able to find it online bootleg or something lol. Or if you have Netflix, you could try there.

OMFG totally watch the original if you can, it's so good ^0^ Because there's a lot more fantasy in the one with Hutcherson, like CGI and crap, but the original one is based all on their imagination like the book does, if I remember correctly. They don't use CGI to make the trolls and stuff the two fight off. Lol.

I've only seen the movie with Josh Hutcherson. I've wanted to see the older movie since I heard about it.

    It's such a good book ^-^

Have you ever seen the movie? I know there's a current one with Anna-Sophia Rob and Josh Hutcherson or whatever, but the original movie is awesome :D

I think we all hated the ending of this book. I know a majority of my class was totally shocked when we read the climax.

It was a really depressing book, but it was beautifully written at the same time. That's one thing that made me write this review.

Thank you for your comment, by the way!

There are two movies on this book. The old one, and the new one that came out maybe a few years ago. The older one is much better, it actually makes you cry when Leslie dies.

Also, I really hated the ending to this book. It was really sad and depressing when I found out Leslie died. I read ahead of my class when we read this together in High School. I like to give away endings because I like spoilers. I told a couple of the guys and they were shocked. They weren't sure if they should believe me or not. Eventually they found out.

Also, this book is the first and only book I've ever burnt. Lol. It was a copy that I forgot to give back to the school a year, I think, after I graduated. I didn't really want it anymore and I wasn't going to read it again because it was so depressing, so I burnt it. (yeah, could have returned it or given it to a library. this was more fun tho)

Books are not easy to burn btw.

I remember reading this all the time just for fun. The movie was just as good as the book, but I'm a sucker for reading (which comes as a shock to some people, considering my moderate dyslexia). You really know how to describe the magical world of Bridge to Terabithia. -A

Ha! I remember I had to read this book for one of my school book reports, and I completely forgot about it until about two days until it was due. I got to read about half of it and then I finally gave up and looked at the summary on wikipedia! XD

Great article, very informative with a good synopsis of what happends. Mr. Green
