    I wasn't going to read this book at all, simply because I'm not a big fan of JK Rowling's previous works. However, this review has made me curious and I think I'll at least give it a try - it sounds far more interesting than I'd thought it would be. Thank you for the book review, you've clearly affected a few people's opinions with this!

    @ Starkid;
    yeah I would definately agree about the character thing! It took me up until about half way through to actually recognised the names of the characters :P Before that I had to stop and think who it was everytime she mentioned another name haha :) true, I was so happy that it was as good as it was! I was so nervous haha

    Oh, I got the book from a friend on christmas! I love it, but it's just confusing at first. You meet so many new characters at once, I actually started making character charts, like the ones we use in english class, haha. JK Rowling is just absolutely incredible.

    Thank you for the review. I've been debating on getting a copy from the library. But after reading this, I think this will be next on my list of things to read.

    Thank you for writing this review. My copy of the book has been sitting on my bookshelf since it first came out in September because I was just too scared that I would be disappointed. Now, after this, I may just get up the willpower to read this with an open mind.
