Mm.. I love GH3, but I do favor GH2 more. It seems as though there are more songs I know and like.

But you are right, GH3 did have a great selection of songs, and the game play all around is very entertaining and fun.. That is, if you are with other people. By myself, it just seems boring...

I have this game on Wii.
    And guess what?
It was my first time playing.
I'm on medium and kind of hard.
And I freakin love it! (Though rock band is better!) (Please don't kill me...)

    very good reveiw,
    though, I own a wii,
so I dunno what the other games were like, but it was nice for an opinion that didn't just worship it.

I really want to play Guitar Hero, but I don't have a Wii or PS3 OR a freaking Xbox 360. Dose Guitar Hero III come on the PS2, as well?

To be honest, I agree with most of what that said...
...apart from the fact that is isn't easy...

...Maybe I'm just a fast learner, but I hadn't seen anyone play GH3 before I got it, so I was basically thrown into the deep end blind. The tutorials came in handy and it was so easy...
...Yes, I'll admit, the first song was confusing but I got the hang of it...

    It's the first GH game I got & I like it :)
Obviously maybe that's because I can't compare it to the other ones, but you know.

I can only do it on easy.
Miss Murder is the only song I can do on medium.
But oh well. I'll keep trying.

i got this game for christmas too, only i got the wireless guitar instead.

i am STILL mad that eddie knox is gone. he was my favorite, i played him for everything. but now i have to use casey lynch and she's an ok replacement. i don't get izzy's new getup, it creeps me out - along with umlaut's new KISS-like makeup.

i've only beaten tom morello so far, haven't reached slash yet - and it was fun having a "boss" to beat. i got really hyped up when i beat him though, it was a sight to see, haha.

i actually thought the picture was clearer and better on GH3 than on GH2. and i liked how you can actually see the singer now and see him singing and see the rest of the band too. and at the end when the singer points at the guitarist, i think that's cute.

and i also love the little movie-like snippets that pop up in the middle in career/co-op career mode. i like the story that goes along now, it's something to watch when i'm getting a break from playing and stretching out my fingers and legs.

if anything, the one thing that bothers me is that there is so much time wasted waiting for loading stuff, it bores me. i don't like that part.

overall, i think it was a good buy. my best friend doesn't like it much, and prefers GH2 but it's not her game, so she doesn't really appreciate it.

I got this game for Christmas, and being a HUGE Gunners fan, I must say, it doesn't matter how bad the game looks aesthetically, Slash just makes it the best game ever.

I got it today as well, and I throughly enjoyed it.
The only tihng I disliked was that when you missed a note, an annoying sound came from the guitar.
    I have the Wii version.
    But yeah, I loved it.
    Good review, I mostly agree.
