I LOVE SLENDER! i would recommend the youtube video "11 drunk guys play slender" but it is full of drunken homophobic and racial slurs, but aside from that, their terror made me laugh so hard i cried. so i guess it's for the thick-skinned?

First time I played, my brother made me play it in the basement with all the lights off, I took so long searching for notes that my in-game flashlight died. In the bathroom area. He found me. Dear god. T.T

I just found out about this today, and it is scary! I watched videos and I don't want to play it, but I want to. Slender Man isn't really scary though, it's just the music and how he pops out of God knows where!

I have heard though that Slender Man starts following you the moment you see the first note, or if you walk past one and don't notice it. I'm not sure if that's actually true, but lots of people have been saying it. You should just stay on your toes! Slender Man waits for no one!

I've seen comments on Toby's gaming videos about Slender. I might try it!

I didn't know they made a game from this... But even though I've had many a sleepless night because of this bastard, I'm going to play this game.

If I knew anything about animation, I would totally make a mod so that when you collect all 8 notes, you get to stalk Slenderman, and when you find him, get to beat the crap out of him with a baseball bat. Because he deserves it. It would be so satisfying because this game is scary and so hard.

This game sounds awesome. I love horror and love the Slenderman legend, so I'm really amazed to see someone made a free game based off of the legend.

Oh God. I had no idea this existed and I will never, ever play it. The review gave me the creeps, holy smokes! The review is great, but reading the rest of the comments I'm too scared to even try it.

It is terrifying.

Words of advice for anyone playing, get the note in the bathroom first. He gets really fast after the fifth note and you're a dead man going in there.

Also, though methods to playing this are arguable, you are incorrect about suggesting the player not look behind them. The method with the most success is to catch Slenderman in your view after 5+ notes, then move backwards with him in your site. He can't move while you look at him. Another note is that in the new game of slender, running isn't advised because your torch is facing the ground.

I'm a horror game lover so I really enjoyed this, and I'm glad you included the origins because I've seen some people playing under the misconception that Slenderman is a 'real' myth of kinds.

I love how they've made a game from Slender Man. I think my brother mentioned this to me a few days ago but I think I'd be too scared to even play it.

My game plan since I just played it and screamed is to wait till my mother wakes up and force her to play it with me.

I've tried multiple times to play this, but each time I always ended up seeing him in the corner of my screen or turning around briefly only to see him trail behind me and I get scared out of my wits and quit. Every time. Sigh.

I'm not a fan of scary things, so I don't plan to go on that Forum or whatever it is you posted XD I probably wouldn't play this game either.

The first time I played, I saw him before I even collected any pages, then I saw him in the bath house thing and got the wits scared out of me, then turned around out of the bath house and he was right there.

This game is creepy, I keep dying.

It makes me sound like a wimp to say this, but the Creepy Pasta stories are some of the scariest things ever. Particularly those of the Slender Man and the Rake. So whilst I love a good scary game, and this one looks and sounds amazing, I think I'm going to have to pass - just so I'll be able to get to sleep tonight. =P Will definitely be passing this on to my brother, though.
