As another Zelda fan, who's played and beaten nearly every game in it's franchise, I strongly agree with most of this article. I believe that Ocarina of Time is probably my favorite installment in this series and it's music still plays in the back of my mind whenever I think of it. I played it originally on my Nintendo 64 system back in the good old days and fell madly in love. It was the first game I played of this game series and afterward, I bought or found the others and played and completed them.

While I agree with what you said about how you feel the loneliness of the N64 is better, I must say that I found the remake. Though somethings were changed (such as the secret things players liked to look for in the game) and were enhanced, I believe it made it only just slightly better. The beauty of the remake for me is that it gets more children interested in this game. The modern child doesn't have the old systems and games and these remakes allows them to play and fall in love with (a slightly better version) of the games and worlds we once loved.

    All in all, good article.

As someone who's been a huge Zelda fan since the age of about ten, I can't agree more.

OoT is probably one of my favorite Zelda games. I don't own a 3DS or a 64, but I played the game a lot when I was a little kid at my cousin's house. The graphics are crappy by today's standards, and there's tons of glitches, but that's the fun part. I've drowned Epona, made Link into a goth kid, and made Link fly (effectively cheating, but it was fun). To me, that's the thing that makes it so great...

Nintendo should spend their time redoing Pokemon, not Zelda.
