Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Zack and Miri Make a Porno may be the most funny and interesting flick this movie goer may have ever seen. Directed and written by the magnificent Kevin Smith. But this is not one of his regular view askew Suarez. Oh on, this is a completely original and ready for action film. Smith proves that he can make comedy outside of Jay and Bob in a big, big way.

Zack played by Seth Rogen and Miri played by Elizabeth Banks give wondrous and hilarious performances. Giving stunningly strong and comedic performances that keep you laughing until your constipated bowels nearly fall out of your bum. To add to the raunchy cast you have Jason Mewes as Lester, giving an delightful taste of his acting outside the role of Jay, mainstream. Jeff Anderson playing Deacon, a wonderfully candid camera operator. Craig Robinson as Delaney, our producer and one of our co-stars for the "porno". And bringing up the tail would be two actual porn divas: Traci Lords and Katie Morgan, two beautiful ladies who's experience shows first hand.

Zack and Miri, long time friends, are in a sticky situation, they have bills piling up to no end. Their water and electric gets shut off and they're moments away from getting their apartment taken from them. But little do they know their situation is about to get even stickier. They go their ten year high school reunion and while Miri is trying to get her old high school crush to fuck her Zack is at the bar making a new friend. A gay porn star, Brandon; played by Jason Long. Zack finds out that Brandon's lover and co-star is Miri's old high school crush.

Zack and Miri find themselves at a bar that night after their electric and water actually does get shut off and the thought hits them, in order to pay the bills they're going to have to do what any self respecting people would do: Make a Porno. And they decide after twenty or so years of friendship it was time for them to take their pants off. Zack asks his friend and co-worker, at the Bean-N-Gone to be producer of the Porno, Delaney, willfully gives up the money he was going to spend of a flat-screen and works with this new found film and of course see to titty auditions.

While Delaney is busy casting and producing, Zack finds a camera operator, Deacon, who plays hockey with good ol' Zack and they get the ball rolling. Zack and Miri also have the duty of finding a place to shoot the movie and come up with a name. After finding an old storage facility and going through many other riskay names they come up with one that is truly brilliant: Star Whores. Everything was set, they made costumes, built the set and everyone was ready to get it on.

Except nothing ever goes as planned-
But wait, you don't want me to tell you what happened, do you? I will let you in on one thing, there are plies of laughs (and poo?) for everyone to enjoy. Well, maybe just those with a really dirty sense of humor. If you like to watch people have sex for money, then don't watch this movie, because you don't get see more than one penis; and it's not in any holes. At least. . .not at the time. But if you love to laugh, this is definitely the movie for you. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone who has any sense of humor at all. I laughed my tits off though the whole movie and I give it two of Lester's erect man parts up. Kevin Smith once again proves to us that it's not who you love it's how.
