The New Bond

The New Bond There is many ways to look at the new James Bond movies. Two major points come to mind. The party of the "old" Bond lovers and the opposing party of the "new" Bond lovers. Lets look into the further details of these two sides.

The "old" Bond lovers are very reluctant in accepting the "new" Bond movies. They feel that the producers of "Casino Royal" and "Quantum of Solice" are trying to "milk" as much as they can of the already prospering saga of agent 007 (James Bond). They also feel if the producers produce a low rated Bond movie then the reputation will of the "old" ones will be degrated.

On the other hand, the "new" Bond lovers feel that "Casino Royal" and "Quantum of Solace" will add to the prosperity of the classic Bonds. The people of this party also feel that the "new" Bonds are a work of art in the department of entertainment.

I myself am a fan of both types of James bond movies. I have found some negatives though as well as some positives. The positive are that the producers made a great story line that is continual throughout the two "new" movies. They have found the perfect actor, Daniel Craig, to portray the new and improved Bond.

The negatives are that as in most movies, some of the fight sequences are unrealistic, but still are enjoyable and cool to watch. The newest Bond movie, "Quantum of Solice", had subtitles throughout the movie. I know for most that is either not a big deal or it is fine with them. In MY opinion, subtitles are very annoying, yes they are useful and nesecary when containing foreign languages, but they should be used as least as possible. Again, this is just MY opinion.

I do encourage Bond fans of both parties to either watch for the first time or re-watch the old and new Bond movies. I think most people will enjoy both the new and old. I know that I enjoyed all of them equally.
