Candleshoe, although an old movie is still featuring on Disney Channel today. A real treat among the older generation and quite appreciated by the younger.

The main plot line follows a young, tomboyish teenager (Casey Brown played by Jodie Foster), who lives on the streets and seems to know most of the tricks of the trade.

Casey is picked up by an elder gentleman (Harry Bundage) who finds similarities between her and the long lost granddaughter of a soon to be rich woman namely Lady St. Edmund. Harry Bundage takes Casey from the streets to teach her about the lost granddaughter, the main aim of this is to trick Lady St. Edmund and to get somebody on the inside of the house.

The house is said to contain clues pointing to the treasure of the late pirate Captain St. Edmund who'd buried his treasure somewhere within the house. When the family (Lady St. Edmund, the fostered children and the butler) are robbed of the money to pay for the bills, Casey tells Lady St. Edmund what she's really there for and finding the treasure becomes vital, as the home is about to be repossessed.
