Remember watching 'Dragon ball' in Cartoon Network's own Toonami (A verbal fusion of cartoon and tsunami, suggesting "a tidal wave of animation")?

Well, lucky for those fans, because 20th Century Fox has decided to make take this famous anime into the big screen. There are several rumors around the Internet (in YouTube videos, Google, etc.) about the premiere of this movie, it is said to be in theaters in 2008 but other rumors say that it could even premiere in 2010!

What is for certain is that Justin Chatwin, who is known for roles as the son of Tom Cruise in "War of the worlds" and young Nicholas Powell in "The invisible", will play Goku.

Also, James Marsters, known for being in TV series like; "Smallville," and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", will be playing Piccolo Jr.

Most fans are wondering if Justin Chatwin can pull it off, due to his physical appearance compared to Goku's. Rumors say that he and James will be exercising with the stunt performing company "87Eleven" which is behind the action in movies such as; "300", "Matrix", "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and others.

Let's hope this movie exceeds our expectations, and that the special effects are worth it.
