I really Liked your Review. I saw the Movie a couple weeks ago and yes it has those exact flaws, and it will never measure up to the books, However, it was a really good Movie. :]

I'm on book 9 now in the series and I know the first three so well. I went to go see the movie the first day it came out and I was expecting it to be really bad by the reveiws. I don't know weather it was the excitement of recognizing the characters and events or just that it was a good movie, but I loved it. I mean, sure it was completely different from the books but it was really good.
It's not how I pictured Crepsley or Evra or Mr. Tall or Mr. Tiny and they got rid of Sam Grest completely and Debbie and Evra is just supposed to be Evra Von (Just plain Von. It's his thing!) and they messed it up soooooo much. But, it was good in its own way.

i really want to see it! i read almost the whole series and i loved it! i jus hope it doesnt let me down like the twilight movie did. Now THAT was horrible! but anywayz i think its gonna be good just like the book. XD

i went with my friends to see it, and thought, "FINALLY! No love triangle crap in a vampire show/ movie/ book!"

I loved it! Even though i was dissapointed to find that after I had seen the movie, before completeling the other 9 books the films ruins most of the plot in other books, i was also dissapointed when they added Rebeca into the film to replace Debbie, giving her more screen time then Evra, who is a major influance on Darren's life when he first joins the cirque. I loved the film and I loved the books.
